Best 7-Day Albania Route

This itinerary is good for Indian travellers who want Albania's city, culture, beach and heritage highlights in one week.

Day 1: Tirana

Start with Skanderbeg Square, Et'hem Bey Mosque, Clock Tower, National History Museum, New Bazaar and Bunk'Art 2. Stay overnight in Tirana.

Day 2: Berat

Travel to Berat. Visit Berat Castle, Mangalem, Gorica, Gorica Bridge and Onufri Museum. Stay overnight in Berat.

Day 3: Gjirokastra

Continue to Gjirokastra. Explore the castle, Old Bazaar, stone houses and local food. Stay overnight.

Day 4: Blue Eye and Saranda

Travel toward Saranda with a stop at the Blue Eye area where suitable. Spend the evening by Saranda promenade.

Day 5: Ksamil and Butrint

Visit Ksamil Beach and islands, then Butrint Archaeological Park. This is one of Albania's best beach-plus-history days.

Day 6: Albanian Riviera

Drive the coastal route through Himara, Porto Palermo, Qeparo, Borsh, Dhermi or Llogara depending on route and season.

Day 7: Vlora or Return to Tirana

End via Vlora or return directly to Tirana depending on flight timing.
